Gleneagles Country Club - White, is a Public, 18-hole golf course located in Lemont, Illinois. Gleneagles has 18-hole championship courses: The Red or Lakes course and The White or Woodlands course.

The White/Woodlands golf course at Gleneagles first opened for play in 1926. Charles Maddox designed the course.

The 18-hole, par-70 "White/Woodlands" plays to 6,120 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 68.7 and the slope rating is 116.

The course closed on July 30, 2022. The property was purchased by The Pulte Group, which plans to build upscale housing on the property.

This place is an outing machine, but they manage it well. Played in a large double 18 shotgun and logistics were well handled. Especially greens are kept in nice shape considering the play, rolled and fast, minimal ball parks, old school slope challenging. Rough is kept cut down so wayward balls are not a hold up to find.

hHH HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE EVERY WEDNESDAY IN SPRING , SUMMER AND FALL BOTH WHITE AND RED < WHITE IS BEST > FOR MANY YEARS . THEY TAKE CARE OF COURSE AND IT IS PLAYABLE NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER .

I love Gleneagles. Many people do, it is a very popular course for many reasons. Charles Maddox's course designs are always fun to play. The courses are really beautiful. Just can't say enough about this place.
